The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Malaysia is a 4-year program covering constitutional law, contract law, criminal law, property law, and international law. Programs may be taught in English or Malay, with several universities offering English-medium LLB programs attractive to international students.

IIUM and UM are particularly well-regarded for their law programs. Malaysian legal education follows the common law tradition, making it relevant across Southeast Asia. Graduates can pursue legal practice, corporate governance, banking and finance law, or international relations. Foreign students may need additional qualifications to practice in their home countries.
